Jonny On The Rocks

Painted on location, at Knight's Seafood, in Brunswick, Ga.  This painting depicts an old "jon" boat resting on the rocks at low tide.  From the looks of things, I wondered if it wasn't partially submerged at times.  I was attracted by the way the cast shadow from a pole in the upper left climbed across the mud-stained hull.
